North Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand of South Carolina is rich in history and known for its beautiful waterways and is the perfect place to enjoy beautiful views, music, cocktails, and fun.
Barefoot Queen is located at Barefoot Marina in North Myrtle Beach and is a 70 ft. authentic wooden riverboat featuring two heated/cooled interior decks and three outdoor deck spaces to enjoy fresh air. On board entertainment and narration are also included on each cruise.
As we cruise, beverages and cocktails will be available for purchase. Lunch and Dinner purchases must be made in advance. The lunch consists of a sandwich, chips, cookie and drink. The dinner consists of salad, lemon pepper chicken, dijon pork tenderloin, carrots, potatoes, chocolate cake and water/tea. No substitutions. No outside food or beverage allowed onboard.
Barefoot Queen can accommodate up to 107 passengers and offers lunch and dinner cruises. Tours range from 1.5 – 2 hours in length with beautiful views along the Intracoastal Waterway.

Where do we park?

Once you arrive to the Barefoot Queen parking area there is a looping shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off at the ticket office by the dock for check in. The first shuttle pick up at 45 minutes prior to cruise and the last shuttle pick up is 10 minutes prior to cruise. Everyone must be onboard at least 5 minutes prior to departure.
How do we board the boat?
Boarding the boat will begin 45 minutes prior to sailing. You will dropped off at the ticket office to check in and given further instructions. You will be greeted by the Captain as you board and must be onboard at least 5 minutes prior to departure.
Will there be food?
In addition to the lunch and dinner there will be concession items available for purchase on all cruises. Lunch and Dinner purchases must be made in advance. The lunch consists of a sandwich, chips, cookie and drink. Sandwiches do have to be preselected and consist of ham and cheese, roast beef and cheese or turkey and cheese. The dinner consists of salad, lemon pepper chicken, dijon pork tenderloin, carrots, potatoes, chocolate cake and water/tea. No substitutions. What items can I bring on the boat?
You are welcome to bring a small bag or purse on the boat. Please keep in mind that it is subject to search upon boarding. We encourage you to bring a camera to take pictures along the way. No guns, knives, or any other weapon are allowed on board. No drinks, food, coolers, or personal chairs are allowed.
Do I need to bring a chair?
Seating is provided for all customers on the boat. Personal chairs will not be permitted on the boat.
Can I bring my own music?
Personal music will not be allowed on the boat. We have onboard narration and entertainment.
What drinks are on the boat?
We offer Coco-Cola products, coffee, tea, water, and select alcoholic beverages for purchase. We also offer a fully stocked bar, serving beer, wine and liquor that are available for purchase. No outside drinks will be allowed on board.
Who is allowed on the boat?
Both adults and children are allowed on the boat. Due to USCG regulations all passengers count against our passenger count. Therefore, infants, children, and adults are all required to have a ticket to board the vessel.
Is the boat wheelchair accessible?
Due to the construction of the vessel to portray original riverboats, The Barefoot Queen is not completely ADA compliant, however, we want the entrance and exit onto the Barefoot Queen to be a great experience for all of our guests. In an effort to do this, here is some important information for our accessible guests that travel with a cane, walker, wheelchair, etc. As you enter the Marina you will access a ramp to the dock. The dock pathway will then lead you to two other ramps that take you to the Barefoot Queen. There is one step into the lower level of the Riverboat and into the Restroom on the lower level. Due to liability reasons, the crew and staff of the Barefoot Queen and Barefoot Marina cannot help patrons with mobility devises, such as wheelchairs, walkers and canes. Please have someone in your party able to assist with navigation onto the boat. Please call in advance for further assistance and make note on your reservation if you require lower level seating.
Do you provide life jackets?
In the event of an emergency, we do provide life jackets to all patrons. You will not be given a life jacket unless a need arises. If you wish to have a life jacket on your or your child during the cruise, we encourage you to bring one that will be comfortable to wear through out the trip.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The Barefoot Queen is enclosed on both the upper and lower deck, allowing us to sail rain or shine. If the captain decides the weather is unsafe, your cruise will be postponed or rescheduled. In the event your trip cannot be rescheduled, a full refund will be provided.
We do not offer refunds unless the cruise is cancelled by our captain and you can not be rescheduled.
Can we have a private party on the boat?
Yes! We offer a variety of options for private events. Please contact group sales at 843-390-2017
Do you have emergency procedures in place?
Yes. In accordance with USCG regulations, we have emergency procedures in place for fire, man overboard, flooding, abandon ship, and rough waters. Our crew will provide basic instructions at the beginning of every trip. Should the need arise, they will provide further instruction in the event of an emergency.
Is there live music on the boat?
We offer onboard narration and entertainment on all of our cruises. Entertainment is an acoustic set by an amazing singer. For private events we can book our performer or a DJ.
Where does the boat go?
The Barefoot Queen cruises the IntraCoastal Waterway south of Barefoot Marina to Marina Inn Grande Dunes and back. We do not go into the ocean.
